Who we are

Ultimake Labs is an independent software company that builds focused productivity tools. Applydin is our Chrome extension for job search tracking. We are based in India and can be reached at hello@ultimakelabs.com.

What data Applydin collects

None. Applydin does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no usage tracking, and no account creation required.

All data you create within Applydin — saved jobs, contacts, notes, follow-up dates, filter preferences — is stored exclusively in your browser using Chrome's local storage API. This data never leaves your device.

What permissions Applydin requests and why

• storage — to save your job tracker data locally on your device
• sidePanel — to display the Applydin panel natively inside Chrome
• alarms — to trigger follow-up reminder notifications at times you set
• notifications — to show browser notifications for follow-up reminders you have scheduled
• activeTab — to read the current LinkedIn page and inject save buttons onto job cards, profiles, and feed posts
• host permission for linkedin.com — the extension operates exclusively on LinkedIn pages

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit your data externally.

LinkedIn data

When you use Applydin on LinkedIn, the extension reads information visible on the current page — such as job titles, company names, and profile names — solely to populate your local tracker. This information is stored on your device only and is not sent anywhere.

Applydin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LinkedIn Corporation.

Export and import

Applydin includes an Export feature that allows you to download all your data as a JSON file to your device. This file is created locally and is never uploaded or shared. You can also import a previously exported file to restore your data.

Data retention and deletion

Your data persists in your browser's local storage until you choose to delete it. You can clear all Applydin data at any time by uninstalling the extension. Uninstalling Applydin permanently removes all locally stored data.

Children's privacy

Applydin is intended for use by adults engaged in professional job searching. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date below and note the changes. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in practice.
